Vodafone-Idea or Vi has been trying hard to battle the race against the likes of Jio, Airtel and others to offer more data to customers at lucrative prices in order to tap into a larger user base. So, in a bid to stay competitive, it has now introduced four new plans under its ‘Vi Hero Unlimited’ plan for prepaid customers. These four plans offer you various benefits including ‘Binge all night’ unlimited data, unlimited calls and weekend data rollover among others. These plans cost Rs 299, Rs 359, Rs 479 and Rs 719 and the benefits may vary in terms of high-speed data and the days of validation. These are already listed on the company website. So, here’s a quick look at all the four plans and what benefits they exactly offer.

Vi Hero Unlimited Prepaid Plans: Rs 299, Rs 359
The Rs 299 and Rs 359 Hero Unlimited Prepaid plans by Vi are placed lower than the other two. It also means that the benefits given in these plans are not as good as the ones in Rs 479 and Rs 719 plans. The Rs 299 plan offers 1.5GB of 4G data on a daily basis along with 100 SMS each day and unlimited calling to any network. This is valid for 28 days only. The Rs 359 plan increases the daily data limit to 3GB while the unlimited calls and 100 SMS per day benefit stay the same.

Vi Hero Unlimited Prepaid Plans: Rs 479, Rs 719
The Rs 479 and Rs 719 Vi Hero Unlimited Prepaid plans fall in the higher spectrum among the four new plans. With the Rs 479 plan, customers can get 100 SMS per day, 1.5GB of data per day and unlimited calls to any network. Although these are similar to the Rs 299 plan, what sets this apart is the 56 days validity instead of 28 days. Similarly, the Rs 719 plan offers the same benefits as the Rs 479 plan but with 84 days of validity.
All the four plans get the same extra benefits like weekend data rollover, ‘Binge All Night’, access to Vi TV and Movies and 2GB data backup of data at no extra cost.
Vi’s new ‘Vi Hero Unlimited’ plan for prepaid customers comes a couple of weeks after it introduced the Rs 82 add-on recharge pack with 4GB data and a free Sony Liv subscription. The plan, once charged, will stay valid for 14 days. The Sony Liv subscription will stay for 28 days.
