Vivo, last year, made its debut in the Android tablet segment with the Vivo Pad. The company is now gearing up to launch the successor of last year’s Vivo Pad – the Vivo Pad 2 in the Chinese market. The Vivo Pad 2 is expected to launch alongside the Vivo X Fold 2 and Vivo X Flip which might launch on April 20 in China as per a rumour.
Now, a report by 91mobiles, in collaboration with Ishan Agarwal, reveals the design renders and the specifications of the upcoming Vivo tablet. As per the tipster, the upcoming Vivo Pad 2 will be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9000 processor. Let us take a closer look at the details.

The Vivo Pad 2 design renders showcase the device in three colour options – Blue, Grey, and Purple. The back panel of the tablet will house the dual-rear cameras and the LED flash inside a circular camera module. Also, magnetic pogo pins can be seen at the bottom of the rear panel which confirm that the Vivo Pad 2 will support a removable keyboard.
The Vivo Pad 2 appears to be a bit wider compared to its predecessor, as per the design renders. This is majorly because of the large display and overall larger footprint. The upcoming Vivo Pad 2, as per the report, will feature a 12.1-inch LCD display with a 144Hz refresh rate and 2.8K resolution. To those unaware, last year’s Vivo Pad offered an 11-inch display panel.
The Vivo Pad 2 was spotted on the Geekbench benchmark database earlier today which confirmed that the tablet will be powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 9000 processor and 8GB of RAM. Ishan reveals that the tablet will be sold in 128GB, 256GB, and 512GB storage configurations. The Vivo Pad 2 is also tipped to have a 12GB memory variant. As per Ishan, the tablet will make use of LPDDR5 memory and UFS 3.1 storage.
The Vivo Pad 2 will come pre-loaded with Android 13. It is tipped to be equipped with a 10000mAh battery unit. The tablet is said to feature support for 44W fast charging. The upcoming Vivo Pad 2 is tipped to offer a 13MP rear camera along with a 2MP macro lens. The tablet might feature an 8MP front shooter for video calls and selfies. It is said to weigh 580 grams and might measure around 266 × 191.6 × 6.6mm.
