Vivo has launched two new devices in the Vivo S15 series in China today. The company has unveiled the Vivo S15 Pro and the Vivo S15 mid-range devices. The new Vivo S15 duo joins the Vivo S15e in the series, which was launched back in April.
The newly launched Vivo S15 Pro is powered by MediaTek Dimensity 8100 processor and is backed by a 4500mAh along with an 80W flash charge. On the other hand, the regular Vivo S15 draws power from the Snapdragon 870 and is packed with a 4500mAh battery unit coupled with a 66W flash charge. Vivo S15 Pro and Vivo S15: Price and Availability
The Vivo S15 Pro starts at CNY 3399 (~Rs 39,100) for the 8GB+256GB variant and the 12GB+256GB model costs CNY 3699 (~Rs 42,600). On the other hand the Vivo S15 starts at CNY 2699 (~Rs 31,100) for the 8GB+128GB, the 8GB+256GB costs CNY 2999 (~Rs 34,500) and the 12GB+256GB variant costs CNY 3299 (~Rs 38,000).
Vivo S15 Pro: Specifications
The Vivo S15 Pro comes with a 6.56-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display with a 92.7% screen to body ratio, 120Hz refresh rate, and support for HDR content. Under the hood, the phone is powered by MediaTek Dimensity 8100 SoC with up to 2.85GHz clock speed. The phone comes with up to 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 256GB of UFS3.1 internal storage. It draws power from the 4,500mAh battery with support for 80W fast charging support.
In the camera department, there is a 50MP main camera, a 12MP ultra-wide-angle camera, which also doubles up as a macro lens and a 2MP portrait lens. The vanilla Vivo S15 flaunts a 6.62-inch 120Hz AMOLED screen with Full HD+ resolution and it is powered by Snapdragon 870 SoC with up to 12GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 256GB of UFS3.1 internal storage. The phone is backed by a 4400mAh battery unit with support for a 66W flash charge.
Further, the Vivo S15 comes with a 64MP primary camera, an 8MP ultra-wide-angle camera, and a 2MP macro snapper. There is a 32MP selfie camera as well. It can also record up to 4K videos. It measures 161.09 x 74.31 x 7.99mm and weighs 197 grams. Other specifications are similar to the S15 Pro.
