The Vivo S18 is expected to feature a 50MP triple-camera setup.
The device could be powered by Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 SoC, whereas the S18 Pro might come with Dimensity 9200+ chipset.
Vivo is expected to announce the launch date of the Vivo S18 series on Monday i.e December 4.
Vivo is expected to unveil the Vivo S18 series smartphones in China soon. The upcoming S18 series is expected to include two smartphones namely the Vivo S18 and the S18 Pro. The key specifications of these devices were revealed by the Chinese tipster WhyLab on Weibo yesterday. Now, ahead of the official launch, Ouyang Weifeng, vice president of Vivo products has shared a teaser image on Weibo, which reveals the design of the Vivo S18 smartphone.
Vivo S18 Could Be Powered By Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 SoC
The teaser image reveals that the Vivo S18 will launch in a new colour matching of “Flower Like Brocade”, which is said to be inspired by flowers from the oriental artistic conception. The teaser also shows that the device will feature a rectangular-shaped camera module at the back. The smartphone will boast a triple-camera setup which will have OIS support. The triple-camera setup will be aided with an LED flash and a soft light which will be placed beside the LED flash.
The past leak indicates that the Vivo S18 will feature a punch-hole display which will have a 2,800 nits brightness. Under the hood, the device is expected to be powered by Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 SoC. The smartphone might launch in 8GB, 12GB, and 16GB of RAM configurations which could be paired with 256GB or 512GB of internal storage respectively. For the optics purpose, the device might rely on a 50MP primary camera.
As for the Vivo S18 Pro, it could be powered by Dimensity 9200+ chipset. The device is expected to feature a 50MP main camera (Sony IMX920 sensor). The 50MP sensor could be paired with a 50MP ultra-wide lens and a telephoto camera. The smartphone could also offer Wi-Fi 7 connectivity support. The whole package is likely to rely on a 5,000mAh battery which could support 80W fast charging.
Currently, Vivo has not revealed the launch date of the Vivo S18 series. It is said that the brand will announce the official launch date of the S18 series for the Chinese market on Monday i.e December 4.
