Vivo V25e Specifications Leaked Ahead of Launch; Tipped to Feature MediaTek Helio G99 SoC

Vivo recently launched the V25 Pro in India. The company also unveiled the V25 in Thailand alongside the Pro model. The new premium Vivo V25 series comes with a colour-changing back and a MediaTek Dimensity SoC. Vivo is also gearing up to launch the V25e later this year in select markets. The V25e will be a 4G smartphone offering. The device’s design details have leaked in the past. A new Appuals report has now revealed the Vivo V25e specifications and features ahead of its launch.

The V25e will feature the Helio G99 SoC under the hood. It will also sport a triple-camera setup on the back. Let’s take a look at the Vivo V25e specifications, features and other details known so far.

Vivo V25e Specifications 

Vivo V25e will be an entry-level offering in the V25 series. The smartphone is expected to launch later this year in India and other markets. Ahead of the launch, the Appuals report, citing tipster Sudhanshu Ambhore, claims that the V25e will feature a 6.44-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display. It will have a water-drop notch at the top centre for the front camera. The screen will also support a 90Hz refresh rate.

On the back, the phone will have a triple-camera setup. The rectangular camera module will feature a 64MP main camera with an f/1.79 aperture along with two 2MP sensors for macro photography and depth sensing. There will also be a 32MP front camera with an f/2.0 aperture inside the notch.

The V25e will draw power from a MediaTek Helio G99 SoC. In India, the Infinix Note 12 Pro features the new 4G chipset. The upcoming POCO M5 is also expected to feature the same SoC. 

Vivo will pack a 4500 mAh battery in the phone. It will support 44W fast charging and run Android 12-based Funtouch OS 12 out of the box. The device will have an in-display fingerprint scanner, a hybrid microSD card slot and a USB Type-C port.

The V25e will not feature a 3.5mm headphone jack. It will launch in Black and Gold colours, wherein the latter will feature Vivo’s colour-changing back feature. The Gold colour will change to Orange when exposed to UV light. It will weigh 183 grams and measure 159.20 × 74.20 × 7.79 mm.
