Vivo might launch the V29 series soon in India and other markets. The company recently launched the V27 series in India, which includes the V27 Pro 5G as its most premium V-series smartphone. Vivo might soon launch the V29 series, which could include the V29 and V29 Pro 5G. The exact launch date of the V29 series has not been confirmed at the time of writing this. However, the launch of the V29 Pro seems imminent as the phone has been spotted on the Geekbench website.

The V29 Pro is likely to carry the model number V2251. The moniker of the device and its model number were recently revealed. Now, the Geekbench listing confirms more details about the V29 Pro ahead of its launch in various markets.

Vivo V29 Pro Geekbench Listing Confirms Key Specs

The Vivo V29 Pro will be one of the upcoming premium smartphones launching in various markets. The company might launch the device soon in India as well. Ahead of the launch, the V29 Pro has been spotted on the Geekbench 4 website with the model number V2251. According to the listing, the phone has a MediaTek Dimensity 8200 SoC with a peak clock speed of 3.1GHz. It also features a Mali-G610 GPU. There could be a possibility of the phone featuring the Ultra variant of the SoC. However, we cannot be certain about the same at the moment.

The variant of the V29 Pro listed on Geekbench has 12GB of RAM. We can expect the phone to launch with up to 256GB of storage at least. The listing also confirms that the phone runs Android 13 out of the box. It is likely to feature Funtouch OS 13 on top of Android. The V29 Pro scored 4394 and 14677 in Geekbench 4’s single-core and multi-core tests.

Some other details of the phone have leaked in the past. The V29 Pro is tipped to sport a 6.7-inch AMOLED display with an under-display fingerprint scanner. The screen will be curved and is likely to offer support for a 120Hz refresh rate.

The device is also likely to offer colour changing rear panel options. Vivo will reportedly launch the device in three colour options. The phone is said to feature a 64MP primary camera sensor. Considering the price, we can expect the V29 Pro to sport a triple-camera setup. However, details about the other two sensors are unknown at the moment.
