Vivo has not confirmed any details about the launch of the V29 series at the time of writing this. However, it looks like the launch of the V29 series seems imminent. The V29 Pro was spotted recently on Geekbench. Now, the Vivo V29e, which is likely the baseline model in the lineup, has been spotted on multiple certification websites.
The upcoming Vivo V-series smartphone has been spotted on the Geekbench website. In addition to this, the phone has also been spotted on the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) and IMEI database. Let’s take a look at the Vivo V29e specifications, features and other details revealed so far.
Vivo V29e Launch Seems Imminent; Clears Multiple Certifications
The Vivo V29e will likely be a mid-range smartphone in the company’s lineup. The device has been spotted on Geekbench ahead of launch. The listing on Geekbench reveals that the device with the model number V2303 features a Qualcomm Snapdragon SoC codenamed holi. The SoC has a peak clock speed of 2.21GHz for the two primary cores. It also has six secondary cores clocked at 1.8GHz.
The variant of the phone listed on Geekbench has 8GB of RAM. We can expect Vivo to launch the phone with 128GB of storage at least. The V29e 5G will run Android 13 out of the box. It should have a layer of Funtouch OS 13 on top of Android. Also, the phone scored 899 and 2045 points in Geekbench 6’s single-core and multi-core tests.
Alongside Geekbench, the phone has also cleared the BIS and IMEI database. The latter confirms the phone’s official moniker and model number. Other details of the V29e were not revealed in any of the above listings.
This is the first time that the V29e has been spotted on certification websites. Looking at the number of certifications, it looks like the phone might launch in various markets in the coming weeks. The V29e will likely launch in India as well. At the time of writing this, the company has not confirmed any details about the India launch of the phone.
