Vivo has been working on several smartphones, including foldable devices for the Chinese markets. The Chinese smartphone giant is rumored to debut the upcoming Vivo X Fold 3 series foldable smartphones alongside the forthcoming Vivo X100 Pro+ smartphone. Digital Chat Station previously revealed the chipset details of the Vivo X Fold 3 Pro foldable smartphone. The tipster has shared the vanilla smartphone’s display, chipset, fast charging, camera, and other specifications through a new post on the Chinese microblogging platform Weibo.

Vivo X Fold 3 Expected Specifications

Digital Chat Station confirms that Vivo will debut the upcoming Vivo X Fold 3 foldable smartphone with Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC. The chipset is fabricated on TSMC’s 4nm process and sports one Cortex X4 core at 3.3GHz, three Cortex-A720 cores at 3.15GHz, two Cortex-A720 cores at 2.96GHz, two Cortex-A520 cores at 2.26GHz, and an Adreno 750 GPU.

The chipset will likely pair with up to 24GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 1TB of UFS 4.0 storage. Digital Chat Station claims that Vivo will equip the Pro smartphone with an inner foldable screen with 2K resolution and 120Hz refresh rate. Vivo is tipped to equip the smartphone with support for LTPO technology.

The upcoming foldable smartphones are lighter and thinner than the existing Vivo X Fold 2 smartphone. The leak claims the upcoming X Fold 3 series will weigh under 250 grams. Digital Chat Station also reiterates that Vivo will equip the inner and outer displays with ultrasonic fingerprint scanners.

Vivo will likely equip the upcoming foldable smartphone with a 50MP primary sensor with Optical Image Stabilization. The primary sensor will pair with an ultrawide lens and periscope telephoto lens. Vivo might ship the forthcoming Vivo X Fold 3 Pro smartphone with the upcoming Sony LYT 900 sensor.

OPPO has confirmed that it will ship the Find X7 series smartphones with the same sensor. Digital Chat Station adds that the upcoming Vivo smartphone will support 100W wired and 50W wireless fast charging tech.
