Vivo is gearing up to launch a new foldable device soon in China. Earlier this year, the company launched the X Fold and now, Vivo is prepping to launch the Vivo X Fold S. The new and upcoming foldable from the company will be an improved version of the foldable device launched earlier this year.

Ahead of the launch, the Vivo X Fold S has been spotted on Geekbench and 3C certifications revealing some key specifications like SoC, RAM, OS, and fast charging details. Let’s take a look at all the details of the upcoming Vivo X Fold S.

Vivo X Fold S Specifications Leaked

On the Geekbench database, the upcoming Vivo X Fold S has been spotted with the V2229A model number. The phone has secured 1319 and 4045 in the single-core and multi-core tests respectively. As for the specifications, the upcoming foldable phone from Vivo will be powered by the latest Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC with four cores running at 2.02GHz, three at 2.75GHz, and one prime core with a 3.19GHz clock speed. This SoC is paired with Adreno 730 GPU.

Further, the listing suggests the phone will come with 12GB RAM. In addition to this, we can expect Vivo to launch multiple RAM and storage options for the device. As for the software, the phone is said to run on Android 12 out of the box.

In a separate leak, the Vivo X Fold S was also spotted on the 3C certification website revealing the charging speed of the device. The X Fold S will support 80W wired fast charging, as per the listing.

Popular tipster, Digital Chat Station on Weibo has revealed more specs of the device. According to the tipster, the Vivo foldable will come with a 2K primary display with a 120Hz screen refresh rate and this will be an LTPO display, which means the refresh rate can go from 1Hz to 120Hz depending on the content. Further, the Vivo X Fold S is said to come with a 4,700mAh battery, 80W wired fast charging, and 50W wireless charging support as well. The company is said to offer a GaN charger this time around. The Vivo foldable is tipped to feature a 50MP telephoto lens, an under-screen ultrasonic fingerprint scanner, a leather finish, and a strong hinge and build.
