Vivo X80 Pro+ launch is set to take place very soon. MySmartPrice has learnt from its tipster Yogesh Brar about the existence of the flagship Vivo smartphone. Brar confirmed that the high-end Vivo flagship will launch later this year. Previously, reports suggested that Vivo will not launch the X80 Pro+ in 2022 as the company unveiled only two smartphones – X80 and X80 Pro – earlier this year.

The upcoming X80 Pro+ 5G will launch in October 2022, according to Brar. The launch timeline is tentative and could change depending on the ongoing global supply chain situation. Let’s take a look at more details about the Vivo X80 Pro+ 5G launch, specifications and features.

Vivo X80 Pro+ 5G October Launch

Vivo X80 Pro+ 5G will be the most premium smartphone in the X80 series lineup. The phone is likely to launch globally in October 2022. We are more than a quarter away from the tentative launch timeline and therefore the launch date is still not confirmed. Soon after the global launch, we can also expect the X80 Pro+ 5G to launch in India as well. The upcoming Vivo flagship smartphone will sit above the X80 and X80 Pro, which were launched last month in India.

Brar further confirmed that the phone will have a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC under the hood. The new Qualcomm chipset is based on a 4nm process and comes with 10 per cent CPU and GPU improvements over the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC. The chipset is also claimed to consume up to 30 per cent less power.

Other than the processor, other details are not available at the moment. We can expect the phone to come with Zeiss-tuned cameras and gimbal-like stabilisation. It would not be a surprise if the X80 Pro+ has a quad-camera setup on the back. As per some previous reports, the phone will come with a 50MP + 48MP (IMX598) + 50MP (JN1) + 50MP (JN2) quad-camera setup.

The phone is also likely to sport a 6.8-inch 2K AMOLED display with a 120H refresh rate support. It is likely to support 120W fast charging as well. Other details of the phone remain unknown. We will share more information once available. What are your thoughts on the upcoming Vivo flagship? Let us know in the comments below.
