Vivo Y38 5G Moniker Revealed Through Bluetooth SIG; Spotted on CQC Certification

Vivo appears to be preparing to introduce another Y-series smartphone – the Vivo Y38 5G. We have spotted the upcoming Vivo Y38, on the Bluetooth SIG (Special Interest Group) certification website. The smartphone has also acquired CQC (China Quality Certification). Let us take a closer look at the details.

Vivo Y38 5G on SIG

The Vivo Y38 5G has been spotted with the V2343 model number. The listing suggests that it will feature support for Bluetooth 5.1 connectivity. The handset will support 15W (5V/3A), 18W (9V/2A) and 44W (11V/4A) fast charging.

In terms of specifications, not much is known. However, the Geekbench listing has hinted at the chipset and RAM details.

Vivo Y38 5G Geekbench Listing

The Vivo V2343 also appeared on the Geekbench 4 benchmark database a few months ago. The upcoming handset scored 3,092 points and 7,035 points in the single-core and multi-core rounds, respectively. It is revealed that the phone could have an octa-core processor with an Adreno 613 GPU.

This could be the Qualcomm Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 SoC. Vivo has several Snapdragon 4 Gen 2-powered smartphones under its portfolio, including, the Vivo Y200e, Vivo Y100 5G, Vivo V30 Lite 5G, and Vivo V40 SE 5G.

Further, the Geekbench listing reveals that the Vivo Y38 5G will come with an 8GB memory option and will ship with Android 14. Vivo hasn’t confirmed anything about the Vivo Y38 5G but we can expect the handset to go official in the coming weeks.
