We are aware of the fact Vivo is gearing up for the launch of the Vivo Y78 series smartphones. A couple of days back, the Vivo Y78+ 5G had made an appearance on the 3C certification and Geekbench benchmark listing. Additionally, the image of the device was revealed by tipster last week. On the other hand, the Vivo Y78 5G live images were disclosed by the NCC certification recently.
As of now, it was revealed that the Y78 series will include two devices namely the Vivo Y78 5G and the Vivo Y78+ 5G. However, that doesn’t seem to be the case, as we at MySmartPrice now have spotted the Vivo Y78 and the Vivo Y78m at Google Play supported device list and 3C certification.
Vivo Y78 To Offer 44W Fast Charging Support
The Vivo device which has gained the 3C certification carries the model number as Vivo V2278A and its marketing name will be the Vivo Y78m as per the Google Play supported device list. Furthermore, the 3C certification reveals that this device will offer 44W fast charging. On the other hand, the Vivo Y78 is also spotted at the Google Play supported device list with the same model number V2278A. The Vivo Y78 and the Y78m appear to be the same device as per the model number associated with them on Google Play. We can expect Vivo to announce the same device with a different marketing name in different countries. As of now, no more details of these phones are known yet.
In a piece of related news, the Vivo Y78 5G live images were revealed recently by the NCC certification along with some specifications. As per the known details via the NCC listing, the device will feature a 5,000mAh battery and it could offer 44W fast charging support. The handset will boast a triple-camera setup at the back. The handset will have a curved display which will consist of a punch-hole cutout for the selfie camera.
As far as the specifications of the Vivo Y78+ 5G go, it is expected to come with an octa-core Snapdragon 695 processor and 12GB of RAM. The device will run Android 13 OS as per the Geekbench test result. The handset will pack a 5,000mAh battery which will offer 44W fast charging support. As for the optics purpose, the phone will have a dual-camera setup. As per the recent leak, the Y78+ 5G will debut in the Black, Blue and Gold colour options. As of now, the launch date of the Vivo Y78 series is yet to be revealed. However, now that the phones in this series have started gaining several certifications, we can expect their launch soon.
