The new Vu Cinema TVs feature a 4K resolution IPS display panel with maximum brightness levels of up to 400 nits. It offers wide viewing angles with accurate colours. The TVs also support TruMotion to ensure a smooth streaming experience in sports and other events.
The Vu Cinema TVs have 50W side tube speakers, compatible with Dolby Audio. These speaker units are concealed at the backside, focusing the sound output for clarity. The company says that this speaker configuration provides a cinematic experience.
The latest Vu Cinema TVs run LG’s webOS. They support all major streaming apps like Netflix, Amazon Prime Video, and YouTube. The TVs also support Apple AirPlay for iOS users to play content from their devices directly on the TV.
The new Vu TVs are equipped with dual-band Wi-Fi and have two-way Bluetooth connectivity using which viewers can stream music content from their phone on the TV, or connect wireless soundbars.
The TVs can also be controlled using voice commands to adjust the volume or any other setting. The remote comes with hotkeys for popular OTT apps. There’s a special ‘movies’ hotkey to access all the movie content from multiple platforms. Vu is offering a 3-year standard warranty on its new Cinema TVs.
