LG Electronics India has expanded its home appliances portfolio with the launch of new AI-powered front-load washing machines, top-load washers, semi-automatic washing machines, dishwashers, and microwave ovens as part of its 2026 lineup in India. The company says the expanded range is aimed at addressing evolving consumer preferences around convenience, fabric care, hygiene, and larger household capacities across different price segments.
The launch reflects how appliance brands are increasingly focusing on practical India-first features while also pushing smart and premium technologies deeper into mainstream categories. From hard-water-focused wash cycles to dishwashers designed for Indian utensils and microwave ovens with air-fry capabilities, companies are trying to position appliances around everyday usability rather than only premium branding.
LG Expands AI DD Front-Load Washing Machine Portfolio
At the premium end, LG has introduced its NT, VX, and GVX front-load washing machine series with capacities starting at 12kg. The new range is powered by the company's AI DD 2.0 technology, which can detect fabric type, load weight, and soil levels to automatically optimise washing patterns. LG says this helps improve cleaning efficiency while reducing fabric wear, water usage, and energy consumption.
The machines also include features such as EZ Dispense for automatic detergent dosing, Steam+ for wrinkle and hygiene care, and dedicated Pet Care and Microplastic Care cycles. These additions come as premium appliance buyers increasingly look for specialised cleaning modes linked to hygiene, sustainability, and fabric protection rather than just capacity upgrades.

New Top-Load and Semi-Automatic Washing Machines Focus on Indian Conditions
Alongside the premium lineup, LG has also expanded its TX series top-load washing machine range in 10kg and 11kg capacities, with a 9kg variant expected later. The company says the machines are designed specifically for Indian operating conditions, including humidity and hard water usage.
Features include Hard Water Wash, Stain Clean, Turbo Spin, eZ Mix detergent distribution, and an IPX4-rated rear panel for protection against splashes and moisture. LG has also added a corrosion-resistant stainless-steel pulsator aimed at improving durability in high-frequency usage conditions.
The company additionally strengthened its semi-automatic washing machine portfolio through the AX series, available in capacities ranging from 8kg to 12kg. The lineup features Dual Spin Shower, Roller Jet Pulsator technology, Ultra Scrub Wall, and soft-close toughened glass lids. LG says the range is designed for households looking for durable and performance-focused washing machines in the entry segment.
LG Introduces New Dishwashers and Convertible Microwave Ovens
In the kitchen appliances segment, LG has launched new 28-litre Convertible Convection Microwave Ovens with microwave, convection, and air-fry functionality integrated into a single appliance. The ovens also include Charcoal Lighting Heater technology and over 330 preset auto-cook menus, including 28 Indian bread menus aimed at local cooking preferences.
The company has also expanded its dishwasher lineup with a new 15-place-setting LG TrueSteam Dishwasher. According to LG, the dishwasher is designed specifically for Indian cooking patterns and can accommodate up to 92 Indian utensils, including large cookware such as kadhais.
The dishwasher includes TrueSteam and QuadWash technologies for grease removal and all-angle cleaning coverage. The company is positioning the category as a convenience-focused solution for urban households where dishwashers are gradually moving beyond niche adoption.

LG says the new appliance range will be available across LG Brand Stores, multi-brand retail outlets, and major e-commerce platforms across India starting today. Pricing starts at Rs 17,300 for the AX semi-automatic washing machine range, while the TX top-load series starts at Rs 32,400. Convertible microwave ovens start at Rs 28,700, and the LG TrueSteam Dishwasher starts at Rs 73,500
