Last month, the Xiaomi 12S Pro‘s existence was confirmed via a Weibo post from a popular tipster and a few weeks ago, the Xiaomi 12S Pro was spotted on the 3C website revealing the charging speed. Now, the vanilla Xiaomi 12S smartphone has been spotted on the geekbench website revealing details like the phone’s processor, RAM, OS, and more. Let’s take a look at the device’s details.
Xiaomi 12S Listed on Geekbench: Check Out Details
The upcoming Xiaomi device with the “2206123SC” model number has been spotted on the Geekbench database. This is the Xiaomi 12S, which is likely to launch alongside the Xiaomi 12S Pro in the coming days. As per the listing, the device will be powered by an octa-core chipset with four Cores clocked at 2.02 GHz, three cores clocked at 2.75GHz, and one prime core at 3.19Hz clock speed. This is the newly announced Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset, which will come with Adreno 730 GPU.
Further, the device will be equipped with 12GB RAM according to the listing, but we can expect multiple RAM and storage options from the company. As for the software, the device will run on Android 12, which should be based on MIUI 13 out of the box. The device has secured 1328 in the single-Core and 4234 in the multi-core test on the benchmarking test.
The device was previously spotted on the 3C website revealing the charging speed. The forthcoming Xiaomi 12S is said to arrive with a 67W fast charging speed, which is the same as the Xiaomi 12S Pro. Apart from that, the Xiaomi 12S is expected to feature a 120Hz AMOLED display, a 50MP main camera, and lastly, there is also a rumour that the 12S series could come with Leica branding as the company announced a partnership with Leica recently. Since the device has already bagged a few certifications, we can expect the Xiaomi to unveil the 12S series in China soon and eventually bring them to the global market.
