Xiaomi is working on the Xiaomi 13T series smartphones, which are reportedly set to launch in Q3 of 2023. The upcoming series would consist of Xiaomi 13T and Xiaomi 13T Pro smartphones. The “T” series smartphones are affordable variants of the flagship Xiaomi 13 smartphones. There are no confirmed reports of Xiaomi launching those smartphones in India. The Chinese OEM is also working on the upcoming flagship Xiaomi 14 series.
Reports on the web indicate that the company would launch the device in Q4 of 2023 in China. Popular tipster Digital Chat Station has tipped key specifications of upcoming smartphones in the recent month. The tipster had even shared schematics of the forthcoming device. A new Weibo post from Digital Chat Station reveals the camera and storage details of the upcoming Xiaomi 14 smartphone.
Xiaomi 14 Specifications (Rumoured)
Digital Chat Station reveals that the upcoming flagship smartphone from Xiaomi will sport a 50MP primary sensor. The tipster claims that the sensor would be more significant than its predecessors. The primary sensor is also tipped as a 1/1.28” sensor compared to the 50MP 1/1.49” sensor found on Xiaomi 13.
The leakster also hints that the primary sensor will be paired with a medium telephoto lens. The telephoto lens will likely offer a better optical zoom than Xiaomi 13’s 3.2x optical zoom. A recent report revealed that Xiaomi might equip the smartphone with a telephoto sensor with 3.9x optical zoom and 90mm focal length.
DCS also reveals that the upcoming Xiaomi 14 will feature an ultra-narrow bezel on a straight display. Previously, the tipster hinted that Xiaomi might launch the upcoming smartphones in two variants with straight or curved panels. The tipster also reveals that Xiaomi would launch the smartphone with 1TB storage options.
The previous generation Xiaomi 13 series smartphones were maxed out at 512GB. The schematics revealed that the upcoming smartphone will be equipped with ultra-narrow bezels. The punch hole can be seen in the centre, with a slit on top for the microphone.
The smartphones will continue to feature a camera island cut-out similar to the Xiaomi 13 series smartphones. The cut-outs are designed with bigger space to accommodate the rumoured WLG high lens sensors. The vanilla 14 is tipped to feature a 4860 mAh battery with support for 90W wired fast charging and 50W wireless fast charging tech.
The Chinese and Global units of smartphones were listed in the IMEI database. The listing reveals that the Xiaomi 14 will feature model numbers 23127PN0CC and 23127PN0CG for the Chinese and Global units. Xiaomi would equip the upcoming Xiaomi 14 series smartphones with Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC.
