In October last year, Xiaomi released its latest top-tier phones, the Xiaomi 14 and 14 Pro. Now, the Chinese smartphone maker is gearing up to unveil its elder sibling, the Xiaomi 14 Ultra. It is expected to be showcased at the forthcoming Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2024 in late February. Today, the company has teased its partnership with Leica, which we have seen on ultra-premium smartphones from Xiaomi and will also be present in the upcoming flagship offering.
The smartphone is expected to flaunt a Leica Summilux lens with an adjustable aperture ranging from f/1.63 to f/4.0. This device has already made appearances on various certification websites, including the BIS and Geekbench, which confirms the presence of the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset, along with Adreno 750 GPU.
Additionally, insights derived from the internal code of HyperOS suggest the potential introduction of a second variant of the Xiaomi 14 Ultra, featuring an under-display selfie camera.
Moreover, the Chinese smartphone giant is said to pack the device with satellite connectivity support. Reports also suggest that the device will showcase a titanium frame, aligning with the design trends observed in the latest flagship releases from Samsung and Apple.
Once it’s unveiled at the MWC 2024, the Xiaomi 14 Ultra will likely reach the Indian shores in mid-2024.
