Xiaomi is tipped to equip the upcoming Xiaomi 14 and 14 Pro smartphones with 12GB RAM for the base variant. The Chinese giant will launch the flagship smartphones in China before the Double Eleven sales event on November 11. The smartphones will debut soon after the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC launch. Another report revealed the details regarding the IMEI listing of the upcoming Xiaomi 14 Ultra smartphone.
The report also divulged the launch timeline of the forthcoming 14 Ultra smartphone. The Chinese and Global variants of the smartphone received IMEI certification. The listing of the global variant of the device confirms the launch of the smartphone in the overseas market. The smartphone’s MIUI source code revealed the upcoming device’s codename. Xiaomi 14 Ultra Expected Specifications
Popular tipster Digital Chat Station confirms that the upcoming Xiaomi 14 Ultra smartphone will have a quad-curved AMOLED panel. Xiaomi will equip the device with a 2K resolution panel and a centred punch-hole cut-out to house the selfie camera. The company will likely retain the LTPO panel with up to 120Hz refresh rate.
The tipster adds that the forthcoming Xiaomi smartphone will sport thin bezels around the display. Under the hood, the device will feature the unannounced Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC chipset. The chipset will be announced at the annual Tech Summit event conducted on October 24 in Hawaii.
Qualcomm is tipped to equip the chipset with a single Cortex-X43 clocked at 3.2GHz, five Cortex-A720s cores at 3.0GHz and two Cortex-A520s at 2.0GHz. The chipset will pair with Adreno 750 GPU and Snapdragon X75 5G modem and support UFS 4.1 storage. Qualcomm is expected to debut the satellite connectivity with the upcoming flagship SoC.
