Vivo recently unveiled its latest foldable flagships, the X Fold 3 and X Fold 3 Pro, in China. We recently learned that the company is preparing to launch the Pro variant in the Indian Market. Today, an industry source revealed to MySmartPrice that the upcoming foldable will have a flagship imaging experience thanks to ZEISS optics. Here’s everything you need to know about.

Vivo X Fold 3 Pro Camera Details

The Vivo-ZEISS partnership is not new at this point. Previously, it was exclusive to the flagships X series, but now, even the mid-range V30 Pro features ZEISS lenses.

However, the upcoming X Fold 3 Pro is set to have a bunch of firsts. Not only will it be Vivo’s first foldable in India, but it will also be the first foldable to boast a ZEISS Imaging System. The source has also revealed that it will have the dual flagship chip supporting high-quality imaging, the V3 chip.

Furthermore, the optics on the X Fold 3 Pro are also said to have features like the Telephoto Camera with exceptional zooming capabilities and ZEISS Multifocal Portrait support.

We have seen these features in the X100 Pro as well, so we can expect five golden focal lengths for portraits, combining each with the ZEISS Style Portrait. It will also allow professional-grade portrait shots with focal lengths of up to 100 mm.

The source also said that the upcoming Indian variant will have camera specifications similar to those of the X Fold 3 series in China. So, we can expect a triple rear camera setup with a 50MP primary sensor and a 32MP selfie shooter.

Vivo X Fold 3 Pro Key Specs Confirmed

The X Fold 3 Pro features the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC. Recently, the global version of this device appeared on the Geekbench database, confirming the use of the same chipset. Additionally, it revealed that the smartphone will come with 16GB of RAM and will operate on FuntouchOS based on Android 14.
