  • A Xiaomi Band was also spotted on TDRA and IMDA certification sites.

Xiaomi is setting up the stage to unveil the next iteration of its fitness band called Xiaomi Band 9. Today, the team at MySmartPrice spotted a possible Band 9 on the Indonesia telecom website. Here are the details.

Xiaomi Band 9 on Indonesia Telecom and Other Certification Websites

The Xiaomi Band 9 has appeared with the model number M2345B1. Unfortunately, the listing on the website doesn’t reveal any specifications of the wearable.

Recently, a Xiaomi Smart Band with the same model number was spotted on the TDRA and Singapore’s IMDA certification websites. While these certifications don’t reveal much about the forthcoming smart band, they hint at the imminent launch.

It will be the successor to the Xiaomi Band 8, which was launched in April last year. So, it is safe to assume that the Chinese tech giant might soon announce its successor.

Samsung Galaxy Fit 3 Rival

While we don’t know much about the specifications of Xiaomi’s upcoming fitness band, we assume it will compete against the recently introduced Galaxy Fit 3, which flaunts a 1.6-inch rectangular AMOLED display with a 2.5D curved glass and 256×402-pixel resolution. It also comes pre-loaded with over 100 watch faces, and it sports 16MB RAM and 256MB storage.

Moreover, it supports over 100 workouts, including, running, pool swimming, elliptical, rowing machines, and more. The Galaxy Fit 3 is currently available at Rs 4,999 in India. So, it will be interesting to see what price tag the upcoming Xiaomi Band 8 carries. We expect it to cost around the same price range as the Galaxy Fit 3.
