Xiaomi is planning to launch a new flagship smartphone and earlier this month the company confirmed to be working on the development of the Mi 11, the successor of Mi 10. Now the latest leak surfaced on the web claiming that the upcoming smartphone will feature a curved display. Here’s a closer look at the latest Xiaomi Mi 11 leak.

Xiaomi Mi 11 Screen Protector Leak

The leaked renders of the Mi 11 screen protector surfaced on Chinese microblogging website revealing the fact that the smartphone will arrive with a curved display. The screen protector also suggests that the Mi 11 will sport a punch-hole cutout design placed at the top left corner of the phone to accommodate the selfie camera setup.

The tipster shared the images on Weibo claiming that it is associated with the upcoming Mi 11 smartphone. Going with the Mi 10 and Mi 10 Pro display design, but the smartphones feature a pun-hole camera cutout at the top-right corner of the phone. This time the company seems to switch placements by shifting to the other side.

Back in August, the company confirmed the third-generation under-display camera technology which is capable enough of hiding the selfie camera sensors when not in use. The technology was promised to hit mass production in 2021 and we were expecting it to be featured in the Mi 11, but considering the latest leak, we are not sure whether Mi 11 is going to include the under-display camera technology or not.

The renders of the screen protector also show that the Mi 11 will arrive with thin bezels on the top and sides of the screen. But we can still notice some thickness at the chin area but it can be neglectable. So far the leaked render didn’t reveal much about the display.

Recently it was reported that the Mi 11 Pro will pack a 6.76-inch display which is slightly bigger than the Mi 10 Pro. The company has already confirmed that the latest flagship smartphone will arrive with the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 chipset.
