Xiaomi is gearing up for the Mi Pad 5 launch in China. The new Xiaomi tablet is rumoured to launch in August 2021. Ahead of the launch, the device’s poster has leaked online. It reveals the device’s design. The Xiaomi tablet has very thin bezels on the top and bottom. There is no cutout visible on the display. This means that the front camera could be located on the top bezel. As mentioned above, the tablet is rumoured to sport a 10.95-inch 120Hz LCD.
The tablet also has a dual-camera setup on the back. The rectangular-shaped camera module also makes room for the LED flash. There is no official mention of the camera specs in the leaked render. Rumours suggest that the camera will feature a 20MP primary sensor and a 13MP secondary lens. For videos, it will also include a front shooter. The upcoming Xiaomi tablet will offer an 8,720mAh battery with a dual-cell configuration.
The tablet is rumoured to launch with Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 and boot MIUI for Pad OS. It will have support for handheld PC mode along with regular MIUI features. It is also likely to come with support for a smart stylus and accessories. Recently, images of the tab’s accessories have leaked via the CNIPA. The images revealed that Xiaomi could launch a new keyboard accessory alongside its new tablet. The keyboard accessory, as seen in the images, has adjustable support, which will allow users to tilt the display’s viewing angle when attached to the keyboard. It also has a slim cutout for keeping the smart stylus. Furthermore, there is a tiny cutout that will work as a connector to attach the tablet to the keyboard.
