Xiaomi has unveiled the Mi Mix 4 at its event in China. The device is Xiaomi’s first commercial phone to come with an under-screen camera. It also packs top-of-the-line hardware like a curved AMOLED 120Hz display, a Snapdragon 888 Plus SoC and a 108MP triple-camera setup. The company also unveiled the new Mi Pad 5 series in China. The new tablet series includes two models – standard and Pro. Both models sport a large LCD panel and massive batteries. Xiaomi Mi Pad 5 series price

The standard Mi Pad 5 comes in two storage configurations. The base 6GB RAM variant with 128GB of internal storage CNY 1999 (around Rs 22,900), whereas the 6GB + 256GB option is priced at CNY 2,299 (roughly Rs 26,400). It comes in Black, White and Green colours.

The Mi Pad 5 Pro price in China starts at CNY 2,499 (roughly Rs 28,700) for the base 6GB + 128GB variant. There is also a 6GB + 256GB variant priced at CNY 2,799 (roughly Rs 32,200). The 5G variant is priced at CNY 3,499 (roughly Rs 40,200) and features 8GB RAM with 256GB storage. It comes in Black and White colours.

The company has also launched a stylus for CNY 349 (roughly Rs 4,000) and a keyboard cover for CNY 399 (roughly Rs 5,000).

Specs and features

Both devices sport an 11-inch LCD with a 2560×1600 screen resolution. The screen supports a 120Hz refresh rate, True Tone, Dolby Vision, HDR10 and a 500 nits brightness.

Both devices sport a dual-camera setup on the back. The Mi Pad 5 series (Wi-Fi) has a 13MP primary camera and an 8MP secondary sensor. The Pro variant’s 5G model has a 50MP primary camera and a 13MP secondary sensor.

For selfies and video calls, the device has a 5MP front camera. The standard variant has a quad-speaker setup, whereas the Pro model houses an eight-speaker system.

Under the hood, the standard model comes with a Snapdragon 860 chipset, whereas the Pro model has the Snapdragon 870 chipset. In terms of battery, there is an 8,600 mAh cell on the Pro model, whereas the standard variant has a bigger 8,720 mAh battery. Both variants support 67W wired fast charging and 33W wireless charging. They run MIUI 12.5 based on Android 11 out of the box. The devices support Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.2 and come with a USB Type-C port.
