Alongside the recently announced Xiaomi 14 series, Xiaomi has also announced the Xiaomi Watch S3, Xiaomi Watch 2, and Xiaomi Smart Band 8 Pro at the MWC 2024. The Xiaomi Watch 2 is a cheaper version of the Xiaomi Watch 2 Pro and is powered by Google’s WearOS platform.

The Xiaomi Watch 2 packs a 1.43-inch AMOLED display with a 466×466p resolution, 326ppi pixel density, and 600nits brightness, and an aluminium alloy frame. It comes in two colour options – Silver and Black.
The Xiaomi Watch 2 is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon W5+ Gen 1 processor which is manufactured on a 4nm fabrication process. It features 2GB of RAM and 32GB of onboard storage. The smartwatch comes pre-loaded with Google’s WearOS, which is one of its highlights.
The Xiaomi Watch 2 comes equipped with a 495mAh battery unit and takes about 45 minutes to charge with its magnetic charger. It offers up to 65 hours of battery life on a single charge. The smartwatch weighs 36.8 grams and measures 47.5 × 45.9 × 11.8mm. It is also 5ATM water resistant so it can be used while swimming.
The Xiaomi Watch 2 relies on support for Bluetooth 5.2 and can only be paired with Android phones (running Android 8.0 and above). It can not be paired with Android (Go Edition) smartphones. Connectivity options of the smartwatch include WiFi (2.4GHz and 5GHz), GPS, Galileo, Glonass, and BeiDou.
The Xiaomi Watch 2 comes equipped with a heart rate sensor, accelerometer, gyroscope, ambient light sensor, barometer, and compass. It also features support for 160+ sports mode. The smartwatch also supports safety features such as accidental fall detection and SOS. The Xiaomi Watch 2 also supports camera remote preview feature which allows users to preview their phone camera directly on their watch.

The Xiaomi Watch S3 features a 1.43-inch circular AMOLED display with a 466×466p resolution, 326ppi pixel density, 60Hz refresh rate, and 600nits brightness. It comes pre-loaded with 100+ watchfaces and supports portrait watchfaces as well.
The Xiaomi Watch S3 comes equipped with a 486mAh battery, which offers up to 15 days of battery life on typical usage. The smartwatch supports fast charging and can provide up to 2 days of battery life with 5 minutes of charging. It measures 47 × 47 × 12mm and weighs around 44 grams. The smartwatch is 5ATM rated making it water resistant.
The Xiaomi Watch S3 features support for Bluetooth 5.2 and can be paired with Android smartphones (running Android 8.0 and above) and iPhones (running iOS 12.0 and above). Xiaomi Smart Band 8 Pro: Features, Specifications
The Xiaomi Smart Band 8 Pro flaunts a 1.74-inch AMOLED display with a 336×480p resolution, 336ppi pixel density, 60Hz refresh rate, and 600nits peak brightness. The fitness tracker features Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection and comes pre-loaded with 200+ watch faces. It weighs 22.5 grams and measures 46.0 × 33.35 × 9.99mm.
The Xiaomi Smart Band 8 Pro comes equipped with a 289mAh battery, which promises up to 14 days of battery life. It features 150+ sports modes and has a built-in GNSS. Xiaomi is offering TPU, braided, leather, and Milanese straps for its latest fitness tracker. The Xiaomi Band 8 Pro also sports a 5ATM rating for water resistance.
