ASUS might be one of the biggest names in the computer hardware and peripherals market it has struggled to find its footinging in the world of smartphones. This is not to say that the brand has not released some excellent devices — in fact, whenever the Chinese company does launch a phone, it is top notch in terms of specs and features as well as pricing. But the competition is far more aggressive in terms of marketing as well as launching devices more frequently all year round, making ASUS disappear from the news. One of the best devices from last year was the Zenfone 6 with the flippy camera, and the good news is that ASUS has a successor ready to replace it in 2020. We’re talking about the Zenfone 7. The new midrange beast comes with a 6.4-inch IPS LCD display offering a resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels. The flip camera module has been replaced with a far simpler punch hole. You can expect excellent performance out of the Zenfone 7 as it features the Snapdragon 865 within. It also packs 8GB of RAM and 128GB of onboard storage and runs Android 10. ASUS has decided to stick with an efficient two-camera system by offering a dual-shooter setup on the rear, consisting of a 64MP primary camera and a secondary 13MP sensor. On the front, you get a single 20MP selfie snapper. The battery backup is impressive thanks to the 5000mAh cell and you get fast charging. Some of the popular ASUS mobile phones include the ASUS 6z, ASUS ROG Phone 2, and the ASUS Max Pro M2.
