LeEco Le 2 Details

The LeEco Le 2 is the successor of the previously launched Le 1s which made its mark in the smartphone market with decent specs and an attractive price tag. The latest device flaunts a big 5.5-inch Full HD display which is coupled with great viewing angles and reproduces crisp and vibrant colours. Similar to the Le 1s, the Le 2 comes with a metal unibody design which reflects a premium looks and feel.
The smartphone is powered by an octa-core Snapdragon 652 processor that paves the way for flawless performance. Also, to support multitasking there is 3GB of RAM. The LeEco Le 2 ships with an internal storage space of 32GB which is more than enough for your apps. The fingerprint scanner that was seen on the Le 1s retains its place.
In terms of connectivity, the smartphone comes with a host of options including 4G, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS, NFC, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac and a microUSB Type-C reversible port that ensures fast data transfer. The device is fuelled by a non-removable Li-Ion 3,000 mAh battery which is sure to keep your device awake for an entire day with moderate to heavy usage.
For shutterbugs, the LeEco Le 2 sports a powerful 16-megapixel rear camera which is capable of capturing stunning photos in both day as well as night. The rear camera is paired with an LED flash to aid in low-light conditions. On the front, for selfies and video calls, the smartphone comes with an 8-megapixel secondary shooter.
The LeEco Le 2 seems to be a nice upgrade if you consider the Le 1s. The device comes with decent hardware and ticks most of the boxes specially when it comes down to the price point.

How is the camera quality?
Frankly, the front camera is a better choice in class (compared with Nubia Z11 Mini, Nubia N1, Moto G4 Plus ). But the rear 16MP camera is not up to the mark. It does not mean the camera is bad, but there is some software issue post-processing which makes the photos sharp, which is not always required. There are not much manual camera adjustments on this phone. 16 MP camera gives better pictures than all the phones in this segment, except Nubia N1(13MP, PDAF), Moto G4 Plus (16 MP, Laser), Nubia Z11 Mini (16 MP, PDAF). So, the camera is recommendable. You can always take better pics with both cameras. But the rear camera struggles in low light because it is a 16MP sensor and always larger

The front and back camera is excellent in daylight. But in low light, the front camera is not good.

The camera quality is too good. You can compare its camera only with iPhones.

how to connect earphone?
If you have the CDLA type earphones, then you can directly connect it to the charging port of this phone. Otherwise, if you have the standard 3.5mm earphones, then don't worry. You can connect it through the Type-C to 3.5 mm converter provided inside the package. Your device supports Dolby Atmos which is in sound settings. So all types of earphones sound good. But after comparing it to many devices, I found that the sound of its earphones is average, and not that impressive. Do not expect sound like Lenovo smartphones, Obi smartphones, etc.

They have provided an adapter, which you have to connect to the charging port, whenever you want to use the earphone. It does not have an earphone socket, and it is a very big negative for music buffs. It is a nuisance. Similarly, the battery charger is also unique for Le Eco. You cannot use the standard Android chargers.

If you buy from Flipkart, make sure to buy from OmniTech Retail. They are providing free CDLA earphones with this phone. The quality and packaging are exceptional. Further, Le Eco is also giving a connector, by which you can connect any 3.5mm jack earphone to CDLA.

LeEco Le2 has the same port for charger and earphone. If you want to use a simple earphone, then small extensions are available out there on the market.

There is a USB Type C-earphone connector provided by the LeTV company inside the box. Otherwise, you can buy separate USB Type-C earphones by LeTV.

How is the performance of this phone?
It is superb and excellent. It doesn't have a memory card slot. Go with 64GB, if 32GB is not enough. I bought it for Rs. 10,000 with free items and vouchers. The battery is 3000mAh. So, you have to install less number of apps and important apps only. Don't turn on the location always, download the offline maps and switch on the location when you want to use. For saving battery, switch off auto notifications for apps. It is a budget phone with great features and performance. It has only one port for charging and earphone mic.

This question is very generic and has to be more specific. The question that you are asking is, will it be able to handle heavy games and multitasking? The answer is Yes, to a greater extent. But one thing that people should know is that the performance is a subjective term. What may be good for me may not be good for others. Also, there is a problem with optimisation of processor for applications. For, e.g., - Even Snapdragon 821 is not giving optimal performance for Asphalt 8 in OnePlus 3T.

It is good except for the fact that it doesn't have a standard 3.5mm audio jack. They have given an adapter, which you have to connect to your headphones. Else, use their USB type headphones which cost Rs. 1,900. Currently, their battery charger is slightly different; you cannot use the standard Android charger.

Le 2 has a great performance. It has 3GB RAM, so there are no lags, great multitasking, and the battery also lasts pretty good (I charge my phone in the morning, and it is enough for the day). Most importantly, there are no heating issues. So I must say, this is one of the best phones in the price range.

I have purchased it for 9.5k. The battery is good and lasts for one and a half day after a full charge. The charging is great; it can full charge within an hour. The camera is not up to the mark, build is nice. Overall, the phone is good, if you buy it under 10k.

How is the battery life?
It is good. Download the useful apps and use them if necessary. Switch off the auto notifications for apps, except for WhatsApp and necessary apps. Switch on the location and GPS if necessary, you can manage with offline maps for route directions. Download the offline maps. The battery is good if used properly. For heavy use, the battery gives one day of backup. For this price, the battery and mobile are good. Buy Le2 on offer sale days with cashback on card buy. I bought two mobiles for less than 10k (32GB).

Yes, it's good, but not excellent like Redmi phones. You can use 4G for around 16 hours. Without the internet, Wi-Fi and calls, it can last up to two days. I think it might be a problem when you are planning a two-day trip without a charger. All other features are good including the battery life.

The battery life is about a day on moderate and high usage, and it is little lower than Mi phones. However, charging is very fast as it has quick charging enabled. It is approx. 3-4 times faster than normal charging.

After playing games and using other apps, it lasts up to one day. If we use it normally only for calling and messaging, then it lasts up to one and a half days.

The battery life is excellent. I use the phone for the whole day with the internet turned on, but I don't face any problem. Once in a day, I charge this phone.

Which phone is better between LeEco LE2 and Le Max2?
I don't know about Le Max 2, but I am using LeEco from the past 1-year. It is a very good and reliable mobile, and the performance is also good. The photo clarity is super, and the battery is also more than average. The storage is sufficient if you are a manageable person. So, I will give a rating of 8 out of 10. Have a good day.

Don't buy Le phones. Headphones are not available easily, and they are very costly. The service center is also not nearby.

I heard that LeEco had closed its operations in India, and if that is true, then it is better to buy Redmi Mi A1 phone.

Le Max2 is better in comparison with LE2S because of the specification.

No phone under 12k can compete this phone. Most of the people are thinking to buy Redmi Note 3 but its holding capacity is lesser than this . Please do not go for Redmi Note 3, this is the best phone ever in this range.
