Introduction and Platform
The Micromax Bharat 4 Diwali Edition is an updated variant of the Micromax Bharat 4 that was launched in 2017. Similar to the Bharat 5 Infinity Edition, the Bharat 4 boots the Android 8.1 Oreo (Go Edition) out of the box. Android Go is a version of Google's OS designed for budget-friendly phones.
Camera and Battery
In terms of imaging, the Bharat 4 Diwali Edition comes with a 5-megapixel rear-facing camera and a 2-megapixel front-facing camera. Both the cameras have an LED flash, which is excellent considering that not many smartphones in the same price range have it. Powering the device is a 2,000mAh battery, which the company claims to offer 4 hours of talk-time. There is, however, no fast charging support.
Display and Storage
The Micromax Bharat 4 Diwali Edition features a 5-inch IPS display with HD resolution. You don't get Corning's Gorilla Glass protection, which means the display might not withstand accidental drops. In terms of storage, the device has 8GB of internal memory, which you can expand up to 32GB using a microSD card.
Connectivity
The Micromax Bharat 4 Diwali Edition is a dual-SIM device, and it supports 4G LTE with VoLTE. Therefore you can use the device with 4G-only networks like Jio. The smartphone also features Wi-Fi b/g/n, Bluetooth, GPS with A-GPS, a 3.5mm audio jack, and a microUSB port.
