The Motorola Edge 50 sports a 6.67-inch OLED display with a Full HD+ 1080 x 2400 pixels resolution. The display has a pixel density of 395PPI and Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection. The display features a punch-hole cutout at the center which houses the selfie camera. Security-wise, the device has an on-screen fingerprint sensor and face unlock support that works through the selfie camera.

Powering the handset is an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 chipset paired with 12GB of RAM. The device packs 256GB of internal storage. There is no support for memory expansion. In the camera department, the Motorola Edge 50 features a quad-camera setup at the back. The camera module includes a 64MP primary sensor, a 50MP ultra-wide sensor, a 12MP, and a 5MP sensor. For selfies and video-calling purpose, the device relies on a 50MP camera sensor. The smartphone boots Android 12 out of the box.
