Introduction & Design
The Moto G4 Plus is a slightly upgraded variant of the Moto G4. The smartphone differs from the Moto G4 in a number of terms. The device has a solid build quality, the texture on the back of the device gives it a grippy feel. The device weighs 155 grams and measures 153 x 76.6 x 9.8mm. It is available in White and Black variant.
Display & Camera
On its front, there is a 5.5-inch full-HD display which has the capability to reproduce crisp and vibrant images. The screen on the Moto G4 Plus is also coupled with awesome viewing angles. Users can expect to indulge themselves in a unique visual experience while viewing videos or playing games on the big screen. The display has Gorilla Glass 3 protection on top. The Moto G4 Plus comes with a 16-megapixel rear-facing camera as opposed to the 13-megapixel on the Moto G4. It is aided by hybrid autofocus technology, that consists of laser autofocus as well as phase detection autofocus, it helps focusing faster on the subject. The camera also features professional mode that allows you to use manual controls like ISO, manual focus and metering mode. Also to help low-light photography there is dual-tone LED flash. The image quality turns out to be the best in the smartphones of its price range. However, on the front, there is the same 5-megapixel front-facing camera with the OmniVision OV5693 sensor coupled with display flash to help in dark conditions. Both the cameras features auto HDR for a hassle free wider dynamic range, that helps to gain accurate colours under tricky conditions.
Software & Performance
The device comes loaded with Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow, there are no customisations performed to change the look of the stock Android OS. The Moto G4 Plus is one of the most optimised device in the software section, that can be found in smartphone market. The Moto G4 Plus is powered by a 64-bit octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 617 chipset housing a quad-core Cortex-A53 clocked at 1.5GHz & quad-core Cortex-A53 clocked at 1.2GHz. The graphics department is handled by Adreno 405 GPU which can handle gaming at ease. The device is meant to eke out seamless performance. The smooth sailing is paired with lag-free multitasking courtesy of 3GB LPDDR3 RAM. For storing files like music, apps, videos and images there is 32GB of onboard storage space which as per user requirement can further be expanded via a micro SD card.
Battery & Connectivity
There are a host of connectivity options on the Moto G4 Plus that helps you remain connected. Connectivity options include dual-SIM card option (4G+3G), Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, NFC, GPS, GLONASS, BDS, Bluetooth 4.2 and a microUSB 2.0 port. Similar to the Moto G4, the Moto G4 Plus is fuelled by a non-removable 3,000 mAh Li-Ion battery, that performs well under day to day condition, for an average user it can get through the day with moderate usage.
Extra Features
The Moto G4 Plus is a minor upgrade to the Moto G4 in terms of specs. The only notable difference is the presence of a fingerprint sensor that can be used to unlock the device.

Superphone.
By nikaitaverma8535, 56 months ago
I am using this phone for the last 1-year and 8-months; its condition is good, and the camera is amazing. This phone is worth the price of up to 12k.

Camera glass is outside the back surface of phone, so will get scratches on it within 4-5 months.
By manoj289looniya, 75 months ago
I bought this phone in July and I am impressed with its performance. Camera quality in the initial days was awesome but due to bad quality of camera protection glass, it got scratches on it within 4-5 months. Not that picture quality is very bad, but the company is not including this in warranty and charging about 1k for its repair. Buy if you can take care of camera lens.

Very bad mobile ever.
By Ravi Sharma, 78 months ago
First of all, battery capacity is very poor. If you use by slotting single SIM it provides all day charge but by slotting dual SIM it's very poor. Another thing is that, this phone doesn't have any kind of special feature, nowadays at this price you can get better phone than Moto G4 plus and very important point is heating issue. Phone heats up only by calling or using internet, if you play games it heats up very much. I have found normal feature in his phone. designing(model) is also not good.. software theme design is same as Lenovo.. If you purchase any Lenovo phone instead of this, it's better. I will give 1 out of 5. In this price range, you can get many more other phones with better battery quality and other features than this.(read more)
