Motorola Moto G Turbo Edition Details

Another variant of the Moto G is out in the market in the form of Moto G Turbo Edition. The latest offering out of the America-based smartphone maker's kitty is similar to the Moto G 3rd Generation in terms of designing.
The smartphone comes with a 5-inch Full HD display as opposed to the HD display on the Moto G 3rd Generation that looks bright in both indoor and outdoor environments. And to protect your screen from any scratches, there is Corning's Gorilla Glass 3 protection. Also, there the device ships with IPX7 certification which make it water-resistant.
Under the hood, it is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 chipset and 2GB of RAM that ensures seamless performance and also allows users to work on multiple apps simultaneously. Storing apps and data should never be a problem as the Moto G Turbo Edition comes with 16GB of internal storage capacity which can further be expanded using a microSD card.
Moving over to connectivity, the device comes with similar connectivity options as was seen on the Moto G 3rd Generation. The options include 4G, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS that provides real-time navigation and a microUSB 2.0 port. Adding fuel to the device is a 2,470 mAh battery.
One of the most important features of the device is that it comes with dual-micro SIM slots, unlike the Moto G 3rd Gen. For imaging one can use the 13-megapixel autofocus rear camera with dual-LED flash to aid in dull conditions and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera for video calls and selfies. The smartphone runs Android 5.1.1 Lollipop and is available in black and white colour options.

Is there any problems in this phone?
Yes, I have bought this phone two months before. When it was delivered, the memory slot stopped working after five days. I called Flipkart customer care, and after following the standard process, I got the replacement for the old one. The second one was again a box packed Moto G Turbo. But after using it for 12 days, again it started showing the same problem (memory card slot is not working). I called Flipkart customer care; they said I needed to go to the service centre and get it done. However, more than ten days have passed post delivery.

This phone is good for this price range. Camera quality is good. Cons: Charging is slow when connected to other than moto charger given by the handset. It takes reasonably more time to open some apps including gallary. However, I suggests this phone considering overall features and value for money.

No, it is awesome. I already dropped it in water and immediately cleaned it, there is no problem. You may buy it. The camera is good, and we can shoot quickly.

What is 4g LTE?
4G means the fourth generation of data technology for cellular networks following 3G, the third generation. LTE stands for 'Long Term Evolution' and is short for a very technical process for high-speed data for phones and other mobile devices. Together, they make 4G LTE the fastest 4G service available today.

What is the battery backup time of this phone?
Battery backup is decent. It works for over one day on heavy usage of phone provided you don't play games a lot. Also with the turbo charger given with phone there comes no issue of backup as it fills nearly 70% in 30 minutes.

I usually charge my phone twice a day, if I am frequently using my phone. Otherwise, charging once in a day is sufficient. But below 20% charge battery drains very fast.

It was nice. You will get a full day battery if you want more battery go for Moto G5plus or Moto E4.

which is better turbo g or turbo play?
Hi, both the phones are nearly same, they only differ in camera, processor and screen. If budget permits, then you go for Moto Turbo Play and Moto G Turbo is also good.

Both have almost same features. But Play has better battery while turbo has higher resolution camera.

Does it support Jio SIM?
Yes, it does support Jio SIM. But do not buy it, as it has a memory card slot problem. I changed my handset thrice, and the problem remained the same.
