Pros

The Oppo A9 is a mid-range phone that aims to get a tick on all the requirements of a decent all-rounder. It is well balanced in terms of camera quality, battery life, display, and design. The battery is a 4020mAh cell which can easily go a full day on one charge. The phone is also quite premium to look at and does not seem mid-range in any sense.

Cons

The camera of the A9 could have been much better. ColorOS once again makes the user experience suffer because of its outdated look and laggy feel. The phone comes with an Helio P70 processor which is strictly okay but may seem slow compared to the competitors in this price range.

Verdict

The Oppo A9 aims to be an all-rounder but because of that, it fails to impress in any one department. Because of aggressive strategies by competing companies, the Oppo A9 can safely be overlooked when looking for a phone in the sub 15k range.
