Pros
Notch-less AMOLED screen looks good and there's Dolby Atmos audio. The stylish design includes a fast in-display fingerprint reader. There are good quality cameras on the front and the rear. The phone has long battery life on a single charge, and it supports 20W VOOC 3.0 fast charging.
Cons
The processor is slower than the competition and the phone appear overpriced for the specs. The software and UI need improvements. There are no stereo speakers or IP68 certification.
Verdict
The OPPO Reno2 Z has a great set of cameras, and it looks uber stylish, but it leaves a lot to be desired when it comes to performance and software. The combination of a notch-less AMOLED screen, Dolby Atmos audio, and 3.5mm headphone jack offers immersive media consumption experience and the phone lasts long on a single charge. Heck, it even comes with 20W fast charger inside the box. We wish it had a faster processor and some form of water splash resistance.

OPPO Reno 2Z Has 6.53-inch AMOLED Screen, Optical Fingerprint Reader
The OPPO Reno 2Z is a higher mid-range Android smartphone and it sports a large AMOLED screen (6.53-inch diagonally, to be exact) which has Full HD+ resolution (2340x1080 pixels), 19.5:9 aspect ratio, and an under-display optical fingerprint reader. The phone has a metal chassis and Gorilla Glass 5 front and rear protection.
Helio P90 Used Inside Reno 2Z Helps Run Color OS 6.0.1 (Android 9)
The MediaTek Helio P90 processor, which has two ARM Cortex-A75 CPU cores and six ARM Cortex-A55 CPU cores, is used inside the OPPO Reno 2Z. The Helio P90 also features Imagination Technologies' PowerVR GM 9446 GPU for high-end gaming. The Reno 2Z has 8GB RAM and up to 256GB internal storage. The phone runs ColorOS 6.0.1 software UI which is based on Google's Android 9 Pie operating system. There's a microSD card slot for expanding the storage space.
Reno 2Z Has Quad-Cameras On The Rear, 16MP Pop-Up Selfie Camera
There are four cameras on the Reno 2Z's rear, similar to all other Reno series smartphones released in August 2019. There is a 48MP Sony IMX586 primary camera sensor with F1.8 aperture, EIS, PDAF, and 4K 30fps video recording. Then there's an 8MP camera with an ultrawide-angle lens. There are two 2MP camera sensors, one with a macro lens and the other is just a depth sensor. Both front and rear-facing cameras on the Reno 2Z can record 4K 30fps videos.

The OPPO Reno 2Z is powered by the same 4000mAh battery that powers the OPPO Reno 2 and the OPPO Reno 2F. It supports up to 20W VOOC 3.0 fast charging via the bundled fast charging wall brick. The phone features a dual-SIM card slot and is compatible with 2G, 3G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi b/g/n/ac, A-GPS+BDS+GLONASS, Bluetooth 5.0, USB Type-C port, and a 3.5mm headphone jack.
