Verdict
Oppo Reno 6 is the latest from the brand in India, and looks to appeal with its wide set of features. At Rs 35,000 the phone gets an AMOLED 90Hz display, comes powered by the new MediaTek Dimensity 900 chipset with 8GB RAM for solid performance. It has a triple rear camera with 64MP primary sensor, but the others are not effective enough for this price range. The device provides long battery backup with 65W fast charging as well. However, it has no headphone, no way to expand memory and only 90Hz at this price. Definitely worth looking at other options in this range from Xiaomi, iQOO and more.

Oppo Reno 6 boats a 6.43-inch AMOLED display that offers Full HD+ resolution at 1080x2400 pixels. The screen gives you pixel density of 409 PPI and comes with Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection. The 20:9 aspect ratio screen features a punch hole design on top-left that houses the front camera. The device gets thickness of 7.5mm and weight of 182 grams. The power button sits on the right side and the volume rocker is placed on the left side. For security purpose, the phone gets an on-screen fingerprint sensor that is built under the display. You also have the option to login using the software-centric face unlock.
Performance, Storage, Quad Camera
Oppo is relying on the new MediaTek Dimensity 900 octa-core chipset to power this Reno phone. It offers 5G network support. The chipset is paired with 8GB RAM and offers 128GB onboard storage. Oppo is using the ColorOS version that is built over Android 11 operating system for this device. The phone has a triple rear camera that consists of 64MP primary sensor, 8MP ultra-wide-angle sensor, and 2MP depth sensor. The front of the phone has a 32MP camera that lets you click selfies, shoot videos and take video calls.

Oppo Reno6 series has been launched in India. The two Oppo smartphones go on sale later this year in India via online and offline channels.
We are aware of the fact that OPPO is prepping up for the launch of the Reno 6 series smartphones in India. A few days back, the Flipkart micro-site confirmed the launch of these handsets in India. However, the launch date of the Reno 6 series remained a mystery at the moment. In a recent development now, OPPO's official Indian Twitter handle has revealed that the Reno 6 series smartphones will launch in India on July 14th. As per the details revealed by the Flipkart listing, the Chinese smartphone maker will be unveiling two Reno 6 series handsets - the vanilla Reno 6 and the Reno 6 Pro 5G in India on July 14th.
OPPO will launch the Reno 6 series soon. Ahead of the launch, the two Reno smartphones are confirmed to go on sale via Flipkart.
