The Reno series has done wonders for Oppo’s brand image because the company struggled to break out of the budget segment image that it was associated with. Oppo has now revealed the Reno Ace 2, which is its newest 5G phone as well as a follow up to the Oppo Reno Ace. The phone looks stunning and comes with a 6.5-inch AMOLED display offering a resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels. As expected, the device packs a beast of a chipset — a Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 unit — and also packs 8GB of RAM and 128GB of onboard memory, translating to excellent performance. The rear camera setup is a quad-shooter configuration with a 64MP primary camera, a 13MP telephoto lens, an 8MP ultrawide sensor, and a 2MP depth sensor. For selfies, the phone sports a 20MP camera on the front. Powering the device is its 4500mAh battery which also supports incredibly fast 65W VOOC charging, which was also seen on the Reno Ace. Some of the popular Oppo mobile phones include the Oppo Reno 3, the Oppo Reno S, and the Oppo A31.
