Pros

The Realme C2 has been built robustly and features a mesmerizing rear panel design. ColorOS6 is relatively clean and intuitive. The cameras perform surprisingly well in daylight for a phone of this caliber. The battery life is also decent.

Cons

The display does not get bright enough for use in bright conditions. UI feels laggy at times, and there is a considerable amount of bloatware by default. Furthermore, camera performance takes a noticeable hit in low light scenarios.

Verdict

The Realme C2 is a bit of a mixed bag. While the software is great, cameras perform well, and battery life is excellent, the use of a weak chipset results in a jittery experience. there is also just 2GB of RAM and 16GB of storage on the base variant, which can further hamper multitasking on this phone. The Realme C2 makes sense for those looking for a bare minimum Android smartphone. If you have the budget to go for the higher storage variant, just pick up the Redmi 7 instead.
