The Realme X2 is one of the first few phones in the market to come equipped with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 730G high-end processor. While it isn’t under the Snapdragon 8xx series, it is the chipset that comes the closest in terms of performance compared to other Snapdragon 8xx chipsets. It has two Kryo 470 Gold CPU cores with 2.2GHz clock speed and six Kryo 470 Silver CPU cores clocked at 1.8GHz. The Adreno 618 GPU that handles all graphics-related tasks, including gaming and UI. The Realme X2 pairs the Snapdragon 730G processor with 4GB LPDDR4X RAM and 64GB UFS 2.1 storage. For additional storage, a microSD card can be used.

The Realme X2 has four cameras on the rear and one camera on the front. At the front, the phone is fitted with a 32MP selfie camera, and it saves 8MP still images after a 4-in-1 pixel binning mechanism. The selfie camera can also be used to record videos in Full HD 1080p resolution with 30fps frame rate. At the rear, the Realme X2 has a 64MP Samsung ISOCELL Bright GW1 image sensor paired with a wide-angle sensor, and it has F1.8 aperture, EIS, and PDAF. The primary sensor can also record 4K 30fps videos. There is also an 8MP camera with an ultra-wide-angle lens, fixed focus lens, F2.3 aperture, and 1.12-micron pixels. There is a 2MP macro camera with F2.4 aperture and a 2MP depth sensor with F2.4 aperture.

A 6.4-inch AMOLED screen makes up for most of the Realme X2’s front, and it has a waterdrop-shaped notch at the top. The screen has Full HD+ resolution (2340x1080 pixels), 403ppi, 450 nits brightness, 19.5:9 aspect ratio, and a Gorilla Glass 5 protection. The phone has a single loudspeaker and a 3.5mm headphone jack as well. The phone supports Dolby Atmos audio through its headphone jack. In terms of wireless audio, it supports SBC, AAC, aptX, aptX LL, aptX HD, and LDAC audio codecs over Bluetooth 5.0.

The Realme X2 is powered by a 4000mAh battery, like most other Realme smartphones. However, this phone is kind of unique in a way as it features 30W VOOC 3.0 fast charging, which allows the phone to be charged even faster. A day’s worth of battery life can be expected from this phone. Connectivity features of the Realme X2 include GNSS (GPS, A-GPS, GLONASS, BDS, Galileo), dual-band Wi-Fi b/g/n/ac (2.4GHz and 5GHz), Wi-Fi Direct, Bluetooth 5.0, FM Radio, USB 2.0 Type-C port, and a 3.5mm headphone jack.
