Xiaomi Redmi Note 8 Pro Review: Pros & Cons

out of 10
Stylish looks and good build quality paired with a good LCD display is a good combination. Performance is very good, even for gaming. 64MP camera is a groundbreaking feature in this price segment. MIUI software is quite feature-rich and there's going to be an option to turn off push notifications/ads. The phone lasts more than one day on a single charge, and there's support for 18W fast charging. There's a USB Type-C port, too, for added convenience.
Some consumers might have a phobia regarding its MediaTek processor, while some might dislike MIUI software's ad-pushing track record.
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 8 Pro is an excellent mid-range Android smartphone, filled with hardware and software features up to the brim. It looks stylish, has a large screen that s good for multimedia consumption and day-to-day usage, a fast processor that can run games really well, and an excellent set of front and rear cameras. Its 64MP rear camera works wonders, especially when you consider the phone s price. And the phone lasts long (more than a day easily), thanks to its 4500mAh battery. It charges fast, too, thanks to 18W Quick Charge 4+, PumpExpress, and USB PD.
