Sony India has expanded its professional display lineup with the new Bravia Professional Displays BZ-P Series. The new range includes 16 models across the flagship BZ40P, BZ35P, and BZ30P series, available in screen sizes from 43 inches to 85 inches. Prices start at Rs. 1,40,000, and the lineup will be available through Sony's authorised professional solutions partners from July 14.
Sony Bravia Specifications And Features
The new displays feature Sony's Deep Black Non-Glare technology, AI-powered XR image processing, and an integrated System-on-Chip (SoC) that removes the need for an external media player in digital signage deployments. Depending on the series, the displays offer up to 700 nits brightness, up to 47 percent anti-glare performance, IP5X dust resistance on select models, and up to 31 percent lower power consumption compared to the previous BZ-L lineup. Other highlights include a redesigned lightweight chassis, narrow bezels, centre-mounted VESA support, ECO Dashboard, and support for leading content management platforms.
Sony says the BZ-P Series is designed for corporate offices, retail stores, educational institutions, transportation hubs, warehouses, and public sector deployments where displays often run for long hours and need better durability, lower maintenance, and high visibility under bright lighting conditions.
Bravia Takes A Bet On Commercial Markets
The new Bravia Professional Displays will compete with commercial display portfolios from Samsung Smart Signage, LG CreateBoard and LG Information Display, Philips Professional Displays, BenQ, and ViewSonic. Unlike consumer TVs, these displays are aimed at businesses and system integrators that require 24/7 reliability, digital signage capabilities, and enterprise management tools.
Sony isn't targeting home users with the BZ-P Series. Instead, it's doubling down on the commercial display market with a lineup focused on image quality, deployment flexibility, and lower operating costs. Features like the built-in SoC, Deep Black Non-Glare technology, and reduced power consumption could make these displays an attractive option for businesses looking to upgrade digital signage and professional installations.
