Design and Specifications
The iPhone 5S is an upgraded and improvised version of iPhone 5 that was launched in September 2012. The iPhone 5S shares most of the design and ergonomics with its predecessor but it is a lot more improvised under the hood. The phone has a 4-inch LED backlit IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen display with the resolution of 1136 x 640 pixels. It packs a dual-core Apple A7 processor with 2 GB of RAM and PowerVR SGX544MP4 GPU. The phone runs on iOS 7 operating system that has an attractive features and design. The phone has a fingerprint sensor embedded in the Home button that makes the phone secured and private.
Camera and Multimedia
The iPhone 5S features the same 8-Megapixel camera with improved low light performance and dual-LED flash. The phone can take pictures at 3264 x 2448 pixels and can record full HD. The camera allows you to record and take pictures simultaneously without having to switch between. The phone also has a 1.3 MP HD front-facing camera for clicking selfies or to make video calls and Facetime calls. The phone has iTunes app that allows you to download music, videos and other multimedia with just one single tap.
Connectivity and Features
The device has all connectivity features that we saw in iPhone 5. It supports 2G, 3G, EDGE and 4G (market dependent). The phone also has Wi-Fi for the fastest Internet connectivity and usage. The phone has Bluetooth v4.0 that lets you stream music to other compatible devices. The phone features a lightning pin that charges the phone impressively fast and it can also be connected to PC for media syncing features.
Battery and Storage
The device is said to feature a better battery than what iPhone 5 holds. The iPhone 5S will be available in three storage variants, 16/32/64 GB respectively.
