Hardware and Specifications
The Nokia Lumia 1320 is a 6" phablet device from Nokia and is a cut down version of Lumia 1520 in terms of hardware specifications and display quality. The device runs on Windows Phone 8 based operating system. The device is 8.1 mm thin and weighs 130 Gms. The phone has 1GB of RAM and is powered with Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 processor.
Screen and Design
Coming to the screen of the device, as mentioned earlier, it has a 6" huge HD IPS LCD capacitive touch-screen with screen resolution of 720x1280 pixels which gives an approximate effective pixel density of 245 PPI. The screen on the device also comes with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection.
Camera and Multimedia
Nokia Lumia 1320 sports a 5 MP auto-focus rear snapper with LED flash support that is also capable of shooting full HD videos at 30 FPS. The phone also has a secondary VGA camera on the face of the phone that can be used for video calling. When it comes to multimedia, the phone supports playback of common multimedia file formats including, but not limited to, MP3, WMA, MP4, WMV, AAC, etc. The phone also has an inbuilt FM player in it.
Software and Features
Nokia Lumia 1320 is based on Windows Phone operating system and comes with several interesting proprietary apps from Nokia namely Nokia Here maps, Nokia Music and Nokia story teller app that lets you go through the past images in a neatly designed timeline UI. Other features of the phone includes accelerometer and proximity sensor, compass, etc.
Connectivity and Battery
Nokia Lumia 1320's connectivity options includes GPRS, EDGE, 3G, Wifi b/g/n, Bluetooth V4.0 and Micro USB V2.0 connector. The phone has a 3400 mAh of non-removable battery which Nokia claims would give approximately 676 hours of standby time or 25 hours of talk-time.
