Design and specification
The Samsung Galaxy Mega 6.3 is the new Android Phablet from Samsung and it has the same candybar look as its predecessors, but with a bigger size and better features onboard. The phone features a 6.3-inch TFT touchscreen with a resolution of 1280X720 with 233 ppi pixel density; the phone also supports multitouch gestures. With 1.5 GB of RAM the device is fast and should handle intensive tasks without any lag. The ultraslim phone runs on Android v4.1.2 (Jelly Bean) and is powered by Dual-core 1.7 GHz Krait processor and Adreno 305 graphics for fast gaming and seamless multimedia. Samsung's TouchWiz User Interface makes the phone fun to use. Like all smartphones these days, Samsung Galaxy Mega has proximity sensor, accelerometer and compass.
Camera and Multimedia
The device comes with an 8 MP camera with autofocus, LED flash with a resolution of 3264x2448 pixels and supports geo-tagging. The touch focus, face and smile detection help you take better picture anywhere you go. The camera application offers many features and options and the device can record videos at 1080p resolution at 30fps. It also allows to click photos and record videos at the same time. The camera also has zero shutter lag, which allows you to take images very quickly. The secondary camera on the front is 1.9 MP, which is ideal for video calling.
Samsung Galaxy Mega has all the hottest connectivity options among smartphones. The phone runs on quad band 3G, quad band 2G and also 4G (LTE-GT-I9205) networks. The phone can connect to the Internet using EDGE/GPRS and Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac. The phone can also be used as Wi-Fi hotspot. The phone has Bluetooth v4.0 and micro-USB v2.0 (MHL) with USB on-the-go and USB Host.

The phone is powered by 3200 mAh Li-Ion battery. This smartphone comes with either 8 or 16 GB of internal memory, and the device also has a memory card slot that can extend storage up to 64 GB.
