Acer One 8 and One 10 Android tablets have been launched in India by the Taiwanese brand. The company last launched a tablet in the country back in 2015. Therefore when One 10 was spotted on FCC, it was unclear whether it would make its way to India. However, not only did One 10 arrive in the county, it brought a smaller sibling with it. These Android 12 tablets are priced under Rs 20,000 and are powered by an entry-level MediaTek processor. Let’s look at Acer One 10 and One 8 price in India, specifications, and availability.
Acer One 10, One 8 Launched in India: Price, Availability
The Acer One 10 is available in 4GB and 6GB RAM with 64GB or 128GB storage. The tablet starts at Rs 17,990 in India. The smaller Acer One 8 starts at Rs 12,990 and comes in two variants – 3GB + 32GB and 4GB + 64GB. These tablets can be picked up from Acer Exclusive Stores and E-stores.
Acer One 10, One 8 Specifications, Features
The Acer One 10 tablet features a 10.1-inch WUXGA IPS Incell display for a vibrant and immersive viewing experience. It’s powered by a MediaTek MT8768 octa-core processor featuring eight ARM Cortex-A53 CPU cores. The SoC is backed by IMG PowerVR GE8320 GPU, up to 6GB RAM, and 128GB storage. The onboard storage can be expanded up to 1TB using a microSD card.
In the camera department, the One 10 has been equipped with a 13-megapixel dual rear camera, with the primary lens being a Sony IMX sensor. The rear camera setup also features digital zoom and auto-focus. The tablet has a 5-megapixel shooter for selfies and video calling on the front.
The Acer One 10 boots Android 12 out of the box and is powered by a 7,100mAh battery. Other features of the tablet include 4 VoLTE support, Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth 5.0, USB Type-C, and more.
As for the Acer One 8, the Android tablet has a smaller 8.7-inch WXGA+ IPS display panel. It features the same processor and OS as the One 10. However, the device has up to 4GB RAM and 64GB storage. As for cameras, the Acer One 8 gets a single 8-megapixel shooter on the back panel and a 2-megapixel front camera. Other features of the smaller Acer One 8 are identical to its bigger sibling.
As of writing this, the online Acer store only has the Acer One 10 listed. There’s no word on the availability of the Acer One 8 yet, but we can expect it to go on sale soon.
