The company has announced the Airtel World Pass, which claims to offer significantly higher value in terms of data and voice benefits. The company announced that the World Pass can be used in as many as 184 countries.
Airtel users on both prepaid and postpaid cards can activate the service to have a hassle-free roaming experience when travelling internationally. The company has revealed all sorts of benefits that come along with the plan for all subscribers of the World Pass. What is Airtel World Pass?
Airtel World Pass aims to solve the issue of having multiple international roaming packs while providing additional benefits to subscribers. The company claims that the World Pass revolutionises the experience for all international travel because it works seamlessly across 184 countries.
The company’s director of consumer business, Shashwat Sharma, said that Airtel’s new World Pass offers better value than travel or local sims in most countries.
Airtel World Pass: Benefits
Airtel users who subscribe to World Pass will get multiple benefits. The biggest benefit is that the one plan unlocks connectivity for as many as 184 countries. Airtel will also provide 24×7 customer care support from any corner of the world for free. A dedicated number 99100-99100 is available on call and WhatsApp for all international travelling customers. Airtel also revealed that customers will be attended by a network and experience specialist squad for a real-time resolution of issues.
There are special packs for customers who travel frequently or are travelling internationally for a longer duration. The validity of these plans is up to a year.
In addition to the above benefits, customers will have unlimited data available for emergency usage and messaging applications. Users can manage their entire international roaming needs on the Airtel Thanks app for updates on usage, billing amount or addition of data or minutes.
Airtel World Pass: Prepaid plans
The company has announced four World Pass prepaid plans for customers. The base plan is priced at Rs 649, whereas the most expensive World Pass prepaid plan costs Rs 2997.
