Vi Cloud Play can be accessed from the Google Chrome browser on Android devices, the Safari browser on Apple devices, or via the official Vi app. Users instantly get access to more than 60 games which include titles like Asphalt 9, Modern Combat 5, Shadow Fight, Storm Blades, Riptide, Beach Buggy Racing, Hitman Sniper, Subway Surfers, Jetpack Joyride, and many others.

These games can be played on any mobile device, regardless of the performance capabilities. The games are run on cloud servers, hence, do not consume any major computing resources on the user’s device. However, a good internet connection is required to access and play the games smoothly.

Vi Cloud Play is a partnership between the Indian telco Vi and Paris-based CareGame, a cloud gaming service. It extensively focuses on mobile games, and Vi says that more games will soon be added to the existing library.

Currently, Vi Cloud Play is available for free to all users under a 15-day trial. Post this, the service will require a paid subscription. Vi Cloud Play is priced at Rs 100 per month, with a prepaid plan available for Rs 104 per month.

Vi’s entry in the cloud gaming service comes when the telco is gearing up to launch its 5G services across India. The company has been rapidly expanding its services in addition to the telecom sector. Vi currently offers multiple plans with bundled subscriptions to Disney+Hotstar, Amazon Prime, etc.
