BSNL (Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited) has announced two new Bharat Fiber broadband plans for its customers in India. The telecom company has announced the Rs 599 Fiber Basic OTT and Rs 699 Fibre Basic Super plans. The public sector undertaking has also announced the discontinuation of many broadband plans.
BSNL Rs 599 Fiber Basic OTT Plan
The plan, costing Rs 599 per month, offers an internet speed of 75 Mbps. The plan has an FUP (fair usage policy) of 4,000GB per month. Once the FUP is exhausted, the customers can continue browsing the internet at a speed of 4 Mbps. The plan also offers unlimited calling to any network through India.
BSNL also offers a Disney+ Hotstar subscription with the BSNL Rs 599 Fiber Basic OTT plan. The plan is available for customers in every state and also offers the option to purchase a static IP address for Rs 3,000 per year. The IP might be IPv4/6 and will depend on BSNL’s internal policies.
BSNL Rs 699 Fiber Basic Super Plan
The BSNL Rs 699 plan offers an internet speed of 125 Mbps for customers. The plan also has a similar FUP of 4,000GB per month, but users can browse unlimited internet at a speed of 8 Mbps. The telecom company is also offering customers the option to make calls within India for free.
BSNL also offers the option to purchase a static IP address with the Rs 699 plan. The plan is available to customers except for the Punjab telecom circle in India. The Rs 699 plan also supports the activation of OTT services through add-on packs.
