Bharti Airtel on December 22, 2020, has announced that it’s opening the Airtel Xstream streaming services for its non-Airtel subscribers as well. Just to recall earlier the Xstream services were only accessible to Airtel users, but now the company is changing its policies. For a non-Airtel subscriber, the premium subscription of Airtel Xstream app will cost Rs 499 and allow users to watch Live TV, movies, original shows and more with Airtel Xstream services. Currently, the streaming service has more than 350 Live TV channels and more. Here’s a closer look at the benefits non-Airtel users will get.
Airtel Xstream Subscription Benefits
As mentioned above, the Airtel Xstream subscription was earlier only available for Airtel prepaid, postpaid, DTH and broadband users. However, some prepaid and postpaid plans arrive with free access to the services. But now the company has made it open for everyone and now more exclusive for only Airtel subscribers.
The Airtel Xstream services come with a subscription price of Rs 499 for one year. The streaming service supports Live TV with the introductory Rs 499 plan the users are getting more than 350 Live channels on the mobile app and around 100 Live TV channels. The company also claimed that it has added 73 new Live TV channels to the Xstream services including sports, entertainment and news genres.
Besides, users can also enjoy the content in regional languages including Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Bengali, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Oriya, Assamese, Punjabi, Bhojpuri, Gujarati and Urdu. Besides, the streaming platform has more than 10,000 movies and 100 plus TV shows.
Moreover, the best part about the Airtel Xsteam mobile app is Chromecast support, which means you can easily cast the content on a bigger display and enjoy the service. However, this feature is not available on Reliance Jio services, also you need to download different apps to watch Live content and Movies.
