After Tu Jhooti Main Makkar, Ranbir Kapoor is back with his next film ‘Animal’. It has already arrived in cinema halls, and the anticipation for the Animal OTT release is quite high. While there is no official information about its OTT arrival, a new rumour on the internet claims that the much-awaited action drama will arrive on Netflix in the first month of 2024.

According to X account ‘Streaming Updates, ‘ Animal will make its OTT debut on January 26. Reports also state that the OTT version of the movie will have an additional 30 minutes, making the whole film 4 hours long.
Official Trailer and Plot of Animal
The movie tells the story of Ranvir, a conflicted young man caught between supporting his tough gangster father, Vijay, and sticking to his moral code. When a rival gang targets Vijay, Ranvir faces a tough choice: stick with his dad’s criminal world or reject it. This decision sets off a series of events with big consequences. In the middle of a harsh gang conflict, Ranvir ends up doing things that go against his values. As the violence gets worse, Ranvir turns into a scary psychopath.
Animal Cast
Directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga, the story of Animal has been crafted by Vanga himself, and the screenplay is a joint effort between him and Saurabh Gupta. The film features Ranbir Kapoor, Anil Kapoor, Bobby Deol, Rashmika Mandanna, and Tripti Dimri.
Cinematography duties are handled by Amit Roy, with editing overseen by Sandeep Reddy Vanga. The music score is composed by Harshwardhan Rameshwar.

According to the latest reports from Sacnilk.com, ‘Animal’ has already generated Rs 22.41 crore by selling over 800,000 tickets domestically. The Hindi version of ‘Animal’ contributed Rs 19.33 crore by selling more than 600,000 tickets. Meanwhile, the Telugu version contributed 198,366 tickets, and the Tamil version sold 7,634 tickets.
On IMDb, trends are looking quite positive as on the first day itself, over a thousand people have voted for Animal, and so far, the film has received 8.4/10.
