Apple Beats Solo 4 Clears BIS India, IMDA Singapore Certifications; Launch Expected Soon

Apple is gearing up to launch the Beats Solo 4 wireless headphones in global markets, including India. Today, we have spotted the forthcoming Solo 4 wireless headphones in the BIS and IMDA certifications.

Beats Solo 4 Inches Closer to Launch

The upcoming wireless headphones from Beats secured BIS certification with the A3140 model number. The A3140 model number was also spotted in Singapore’s IMDA certification, confirming the device’s moniker.

The forthcoming wireless headphones were previously spotted on the FCC certification, which revealed the Bluetooth support and the schematic render of the device.

Beats Solo 4 Expected Specifications

9to5Mac reports that Apple will unveil the forthcoming wireless headphones on May 2. The report adds that Apple will price the Beats Solo 4 at USD 199.99 (approx. Rs 16,700), similar to its predecessor, launched in 2016. Beats will equip the Solo 4 with support for spatial audio with dynamic head tracking.

The Solo 4 wireless headphones will sport custom-built 40mm transducers. Apple will continue to equip the headphones with a 3.5mm headphone jack, which will provide support for lossless audio. 9to5Mac claims that the Solo 4 will debut with 50 hours of battery backup.

The Solo 4 will last 10 hours, which is longer than its predecessor, the Solo 3. The wireless headphones will also sport a USB Type C port with support for fast charging tech which is reported to offer 5 hours of wireless playback with 10 minutes of charging.
