Apple Rumoured To Be Working on Nintendo Switch-like Portable Hybrid Gaming Console Powered by Apple Silicon

Smart TV manufacturers are trying their best to match up with the gaming requirements as the industry is witnessing significant growth. Cupertino based tech giant Apple has recently launched its Apple TV 4K in the global market with an A12 Bionic chipset. However, it seems that the newly launched TV didn’t fulfil the expectations of the gaming enthusiasts. In the latest development, it has been reported that the company is developing a new hybrid console portal for gaming. According to a report from Wccftech, Apple is expected to use the latest chipset to enhance the graphic performance of the upcoming gaming console.

Apple Hybrid Gaming Console

Citing a Korean community website Client the report claimed that the upcoming hybrid console from tech giant Apple is expected to be similar to the Nintendo Switch. If this turned out to be true then it would be the first-ever gaming console from the company which will directly target the gaming society.

The upcoming alleged gaming console from the brands is tipped to ship with a cooling system which is expected to be one of the most powerful devices among the others. The report also claims that the hybrid portal console is going to be powered by a new chipset which is said to be different from the existing M and S series chipsets. It would be interesting to see what Apple is cooking at the Cupertino headquarters and when it’s going to serve it to us.

Furthermore, the report also suggests that the company is negotiating with game developers like Ubisoft and others to get some exclusive games for Apple Arcade. Going with the previous rumours, the company was also speculated to launch a Mac device purely focused on gaming. The device was expected to lunch in 2020, but that didn’t happen.
