Asus ROG Phone 5S, 5S Pro Microsite Goes Live on Flipkart, Set to Launch in India on February 15

Asus, back in August, announced the Asus ROG Phone 5s, and ROG Phone 5s Pro. Now, the company has announced ROG Phone 5s and ROG Phone 5s Pro India launch date. The ROG Phone 5s series devices will launch on 15th February in the country. To recall, the ROG Phone 5s and 5s Pro smartphones are powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 888+ mobile platform and come with a 144Hz refresh rate display.

Earlier today, the ROG Phone 5s micro-site went live on Flipkart. The company also posted a teaser on social media channels for the upcoming launch. Take a look at the teaser.

The ROG Phone 5s duo comes with a 6.78-inch Full HD+ E4 AMOLED display with 2448 × 1080 pixel resolution, 20.4:9 aspect ratio, 144Hz refresh rate, and 300Hz touch sampling rate. The ROG Phone 5s Pro also features a ROG Vision Colour rear display and has an RGB light inside the ROG logo.

Both these handsets are powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 888+ processor and Adreno 660 GPU. The ROG Phone 5s series devices retail in up to 18GB of LPDDR5 RAM and up to 512GB of UFS3.1 storage.

In terms of optics, you will find a triple-rear camera setup and LED flash on both handsets. The primary shooters on these devices are 64MP Sony IMX686 sensors which get accompanied by 13MP ultra-wide-angle lenses (125˚ field of view) and 5MP macro sensors. For selfies, these handsets rely on 24MP front shooters.

The ROG Phone 5s series devices are equipped with 6,000mAh battery units and support 65W HyperCharge fast charging. These handsets also feature ultrasonic AirTrigger sensors and grip press detection. The ROG 5s series devices retail in two colour options – Phantom Black and Aurora White.
